Events and lectures
The SmB service office regularly organises (digital) lectures, exchange meetings and workshops in cooperation with external and internal speakers on specific topics of barrier-free teaching, dealing with impairments or reports on experiences.
The Office of Educational Innovation and Higher Education Didactics of the University of Paderborn also regularly offers

As part of his lecture "Dealing with stuttering in higher education", Mr Smerilli will inform interested students and teachers about the current state of knowledge on the causes of stuttering and give practical advice on dealing with stuttering and students who stutter.
PD Dr Filippo Smerilli stutters himself, was a research assistant and lecturer at the University of Wuppertal from 2008 to 2016, is a literary scholar, has been active in self-help for several years and since 2018 has been an employee of the Berlin counselling centre "SPRECHRAUM. Counselling for stuttering and other communication impairments - by and for those affected".
