Successful learning - learning strategies for the exam | Lecture

How do I intensify my learning?
Which learning methods are suitable for which learning phase?
How do I learn in such a way that I can recall my knowledge even in stressful situations?

Whether for written or oral exams: it is important to understand and memorise learning content and to be able to reproduce it in the exam. To do this, it is helpful to know how learning works and which learning methods can be used when and how. Knowledge can be learnt for exams in such a way that it is easier to recall in these normally stressful situations.

At this point, we would also like to refer you to the related topics - not covered here - of our lectures: "Time management and dealing with procrastination" and "Studying without exam anxiety?".

Programme/ Procedure:

The short lecture will address the following topics:

  • What reinforces my learning?
  • What helpful learning methods are there?
  • How do I organise my learning process for the exam?
  • What makes knowledge more "stress-resistant"?
