Cats to combat university stress

Dates: 16 April, 23 April, 30 April, 7 May, 21 May, 11 June, 9 July, 23 July

Time: 2 pm

Meeting point: In front of the I Building

Target group: Students with and without disabilities

Language of the event: German

As part of our partnership with the Paderborn Animal Shelter, all students who are looking for a break from the stress of university are welcome. Interacting with animals triggers the release of ‘feel-good’ hormones, which have been proven to reduce tension. What’s more, you’ll be doing yourself a favour at the same time, as the animals get used to human contact, thereby increasing their chances of being rehomed into a lovely home!

We’ll meet up in front of the university’s I-Building and then take the bus to the Paderborn Animal Shelter. The shelter’s cats will be waiting for us there and will be delighted to be stroked.
