This semester, the Service Centre for Students with Disabilities is organising the event "Cats against University Stress" for the fourth time in cooperation with the Paderborn University Animal Shelter!

All students who long for a balance from university stress are warmly welcome, as feel-good hormones are released during contact with animals, which have been proven to reduce tension. You will also be doing yourself a favour at the same time, as the animals get used to human contact and this increases their chances of finding a nice home!

How does the event work?
We meet together in front of the I-building of the university and then take the bus to the Paderborn University animal shelter. The shelter's cats will be waiting for us there and will be happy to be petted.

Target group: Students of all degree programmes and semesters

Time: 14:00 - 16:30, meeting point at 14:00 in front of the I-building
